Epstein documents the names Prince Andrew and Clinton

This Wednesday, a collection of confidential and captivating documents related to the notorious accused sex-trafficker Jeffrey Epstein were unveiled, revealing hundreds of pages of hidden truths. The initial batch of documents has been made public as mandated by a court order issued on December 18, with even more riveting revelations expected to be disclosed in the coming weeks.

It is anticipated that the documents will contain almost 200 names, including accusers of Epstein, influential business figures, politicians, and potentially others, even taking into account the material that has yet to be unsealed.

The initial set of documents didn’t seem to hold any groundbreaking revelations. Most of the information within them has already been disclosed in media reports and other legal proceedings. However, this marks the first occasion where these specific documents, officially filed with a court, are being made public through the legal system.

Legal representatives for Ghislaine Maxwell asserted in a statement on Wednesday: “She has unwaveringly and unequivocally protested her innocence.”

The documents consist of selected passages from the depositions of Maxwell and Virginia Roberts Giuffre. Furthermore, a deposition has been made by Johanna Sjoberg, who vividly recounted in the official document how Prince Andrew playfully touched her breast while posing for photographs.

While Sjoberg’s story has been made public, this is the initial instance her deposition has been revealed. She was occasionally employed by Epstein and has revealed that he urged her to exceed her personal boundaries by engaging in sexualized massages.

According to court documents filed by her attorneys on Tuesday, Prince Andrew and Virginia Giuffre formerly reached an out-of-court settlement in her sexual abuse lawsuit against him. Andrew has consistently denied the allegations.

The deposition transcripts contain mentions of several significant figures, as previously disclosed, such as Andrew and former US president Bill Clinton.

SjobergDuring her deposition in 2016, the woman vividly recounted a conversation she had with Epstein, in which he mentioned Bill Clinton. She remembered him saying, “You know, Clinton has a thing for young girls.”

When questioned about Clinton’s association with Epstein, she responded by stating that she knew Epstein had “dealings” with Clinton.

A spokesperson for Clinton, speaking in 2019, acknowledged that the former president had taken flights on Epstein’s private plane; however, they maintained that Clinton was unaware of the financier’s heinous acts.

On Wednesday, a spokesman for Clinton once again emphasized that in 2019 and told CNN that it has now been nearly 20 years since President Clinton last had contact with Epstein. It’s important to note that Clinton has not been accused of any crimes or wrongdoing related to Epstein.

During her deposition, Johanna Sjoberg also recounted a noteworthy incident when she was aboard one of Epstein’s planes and the pilots informed them of the need to land in Atlantic City. It was at that moment that Epstein put forth the suggestion of reaching out to none other than Donald Trump.

Sjoberg said that Jeffrey enthusiastically suggested, “Let’s reach out to Trump and head to the casino—I can’t quite remember its name, but that’s where we’ll go!”

In her deposition, Sjoberg stated that she never massaged Trump. It’s important to note that Trump is not implicated in any wrongdoing related to Epstein in the documents.

CNN has contacted the Trump campaign for a comment.

During her deposition, Giuffre claimed that Maxwell instructed her to engage in sexual activities with several individuals, such as former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, Prince Andrew, tech guru Marvin Minsky, renowned French modeling scout Jean-Luc Brunel, and American investor Glenn Dubin.

In 2019, a spokesperson for the Dubins vehemently denied the allegations made by Giuffre, expressing their outrage and categorically rejecting them. This strong statement was widely covered in reputable publications such as the Washington Post, the Hill, and Vanity Fair.

In that deposition, there are still three individuals who remain unnamed and were not disclosed on Wednesday. Giuffre accuses Maxwell of instructing her to engage in sexual relations with an “unnamed prince,” the “owner of a renowned hotel chain,” and a name that has been completely redacted.

The document doesn’t clarify if Giuffre engaged in sexual activity with any of the individuals mentioned.

In addition to that, there are legal motions filed by the attorneys that have been unsealed. These documents are part of a case that has been resolved, initiated by Virginia Roberts Giuffre, an American woman who accused Epstein of sexually abusing her when she was a minor. Giuffre also claimed that Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s former girlfriend, played a role in facilitating the abuse.

Several alleged victims and associates have participated in public interviews and have already been named in the media. Being included in the newly unredacted documents does not necessarily imply any wrongdoing or illegal activity.

According to court documents, the names of some victims have been redacted due to the sensitive nature of the crimes.

In 2019, Epstein was indicted on federal charges for running a sex trafficking ring, through which he reportedly sexually abused numerous underage girls. Tragically, Epstein died by suicide while in jail, awaiting his trial. Following the indictment in New York, Maxwell faced charges of sex trafficking, involving multiple victims. Ultimately, she was convicted in 2021.
